100% Merlot – A more sedated style than its mate the sparkling Shiraz – not crochet doilies on the back of the sofa style, think more EV than V6. Made in the method traditonnelle and spending four months in oak - giving it the perfect pallet weight with softer tannins, creamy mousse and beautifully balanced natural acidity. It’s full of plummy, rich dark fruits a smattering of vanilla with a mouth feel of cherry cola and sarsaparilla. The finish is slightly dry and refreshing. Think outside the square with this one – something spicy, pork, bacon & eggs, a cheese platter or no food at all, just enjoy it on a beautiful afternoon, or morning or a starry night………served chilled.
