Tasting Comments: The 2020 vintage was shaped by low-yielding, smaller berries with higher concentration of flavours. We go back to the Swiss finishing school where the 2018 vintage has moved past the fish fork and grappling with deportment. In glides the 2020 vintage; poised, assured, composed with old money elegance - opening with ripe blackcurrant, dark berries, plums, wrapped in a perfume of warm brioche and a mist of violets. She piques your intrigue and invites pause and contemplation before taking that second sniff. As the fruits move across your palate, the layers of blackberry, baked plums are joined by hints of mocha and fruitcake. As the wine is unfiltered the finish is long, composed, seamless and complete. Beautifully proportioned with a compelling interplay of power, finesse and elegance - she can effortlessly hold her own in the drawing rooms of Margaux and Pauillac.
