Effectively we have stolen it. Allegedly. The 2021 vintage is the closest expression of the Syrah style we have made – more Dean Martin than Led Zeppelin. Smooth, melodic and lighter on its feet; the nose is sweet cherries, plums, blackberry with a dash of white pepper, anise and curry leaf. On the palate, the fruits follow through beautifully, joined by smatterings of the famous chocolate-coated cherry ripe bars with darker fruits quietly loitering in the background before a finish of toasty oak.
