Tasting Comments: Crank up your Deep Purple favourite riff, as this is the colour reflecting back to you from your glass. The nose sidles up to you carrying dark red berries, plums, raspberry tarts, mocha and the kind of spice you can’t quite name (writing “what am I smelling” is not quite professional) ) but definitely want more off. The Margaret River Shiraz expression of roasted beetroot, earthiness and blackberry compote come through with hints of curry leaf and a smattering of pepper. The tannins are smooth enough to talk your way out of that speeding ticket / firm enough to stand up in court and state that the speeding camera is obviously faulty. Enjoy it now with youthful abandonment or cellar it and be rewarded with elegance.
